Frozen colors are in now more than ever, and BMW is creating a trend in the premium segment. BMW started a project in 2006 to make automobiles with a matte paint. Dubbed “Frozen colors”, matte clear-coat finish used creates velvety surfaces with a high-quality look and a pleasant touch while enhancing the design lines of a BMW.

Back in May, BMW announced two exclusive new M Performance Editions for the BMW M3 and BMW built by BMW M solely for the UK market. The special M vehicles were also offered in exclusive paints: Frozen Red, Frozen Blue and Frozen White. Just a few weeks ago, BMW extended their M3 offering into the U.S. market as well.

Now, for the first time, we have the opportunity to take a look at an M6 Coupe sporting the Individual Frozen Red color. The matte red can be seen at the BMW Munich dealership where the M6 proudly sits in the display.
